Transformed Holy Mother of Consolation will be conducting faith building small groups this fall. Our 6 week - 1 hour sessions will be led using the book, "Transformed."
The focus of the book is the Eucharist. We are in the last year of the 3 year Eucharistic Revival cycle in the United States and this is a great opportunity to learn more about the Eucharist and share our faith with others.
The sessions are scheduled at HMC at the following times:
Mondays 9:30am, September 30th - November 4th Mondays 1:00pm, September 30th - November 5th Tuesdays 6:05pm, October 1st - November 5th (after 5:30pm Mass)
Return How can I bring my child/sibling/friend back to Catholicism? An average 6.5 people leave the Church for every one that joins. Truly, this is the most heart-rendering and distressing issue faced by parents.
A passive wait-and-see is not the option. What can I do? What should I do? This is your opportunity to work through how best to address this difficult issue.
This 6-week session is based on the book,"Return,"by Brandon Vogt. We will discuss spiritual and theoretical considerations, the role of prayer/fasting, the "whys" people move away from the Church, ways to open the conversation with individuals, and address specific objections to the Church. We will share ideas in small groups while emphasizing the need for privacy on this difficult issue.
This 6-week session will run for 60-75 minutes each week and is available for everyone in St. Cletus Pastorate. It will run on Wednesdays from 6:15p-7:30p beginning on October 2 through November 6 at different locations throughout the pastorate. The first session will be held at HMC with future locations decided at the first meeting.
